ASK POTUS TO KEEP GRIZZLY BEARS PROTECTED DAYS OF ACTION
Wednesday, August 17, through Friday, August 19.Please call, email, tweet, Facebook and write letters asking the President to stop the risky plan to remove grizzly bears from the Endangered Species Act, which will open up a trophy hunting season.
Here is the basic message (feel free to elaborate): Please keep Yellowstone area grizzly bears on the Endangered Species list. Delisting is at odds with the best available science as these bears are genetically isolated, threatened by climate change and reside in states known to be extremely intolerant of predators. Further, these bears are a beloved American icon and most Americans, including 62% of independent experts, think these bears should remain listed.
